To support the development of well planned, enabling environments we have introduced a range of provision collections that promote exploratory and creative development and stimulate high quality learning through play.

Each collection offers a manageable range of resources that can be presented as part of everyday provision and will appeal to young children.

The collections are presented in a strong transparent box, which can be used to house the collection, or for storage of additional items.

This collection has been designed to encourage and support the deep interest which most young children demonstrate in their water play, including filling, tipping, pouring and transporting water. It features resources that children can use to extend their experience of manipulating, moving and containing water. In addition there
is a small selection of boats and people to use in pretend play.

This collection recognises children's strong interest in digging, filling, tipping, moulding and transferring sand from place to place. It features tools and containers that can be used to explore the properties of wet sand and a range of small world vehicles, creatures and people to stimulate imaginative play, story making and communication.

This collection of wooden blocks, vehicles and conical figures offers extensive learning and development opportunities for young children. Children will engage in lining-up, piling-up and balancing the blocks and will enjoy moving the vehicles and placing the figures. These early explorations develop interest in position, pattern, shape and space.
